About the Alcon Infiniti
The Alcon Infiniti was first launched in 2003 by Alcon Labs. At the time of release, a new machine cost $80,000. This is a large investment for any Cataract Surgery Center. We find that our clients tend to have three common problems when it comes to their Alcon Infiniti Phaco System:
1. Phaco in Need of Repairs – We have noticed that this particular model seems to have issues with the tray arm. If your machine’s tray arm is broken make sure to send us a quick email at firstname.lastname@example.org. We repair tray arms at a fraction of the cost of the manufacturer.
2. Need a Replacement Part - Another common issue is that you need a replacement handpiece. These handpieces can be hard to find, and expensive to buy straight from the manufacturer. Surprisingly, websites like ebay might have what you are looking for.
3. Need to Sell Old Equipment – One final issue that we know is common for cataract centers is the inability to sell used phaco systems. If you have an older system that is broken or out of date you may just want to give it away, but you shouldn’t! You may not realize it, but a used Alcon Infiniti System can sell for between $10,000 and $35,000. We can help you sell your equipment as well. See our Phaco System Sales Page.
